I suppose I should explain my name (Waking Up Naked - Broken Warrior)

In 1982 I was in a car accident where according to lore, I died.  I don't remember much from that day or many thereafter.  I broke my neck and became paralyzed from the chest down (that's the broken part).

I fought hard to get back into life and determine who I am now that I was a guy in a wheelchair and the ideas of athlete, runner, and several of the other ideas I had to describe myself no longer fit.  This was quite an opportunity.  I found that I had wakened up naked.  I was stripped of old and limited concepts that I had used to define (and limit?) myself.  Who would I become?

I utilized the opportunity to awaken spiritually, attempted to not limit myself with definitions in the future.  This is a daily struggle and I have since 1982 found myself mired in those limited definitions several times.  I have wakened several times by several different means (I've divorced once, I'm up to seven deaths, and I have changed careers as well - among other reasons).

So this name, and this site help me to remember often not to limit myself by other's or my own definitions of myself, and therefore others.

The other name is Eric… I respond to that as well… nice to meet you!  :)
